Aaron Gott was born and raised in the Amana Colonies (where there are no Amish people, but a lot of Germans, beer and sauerkraut). After receiving his B.A. in Political Science from Iowa State University, Aaron began working at the Iowa House of Representatives as a legislative assistant. He plans to start law school at that other school which shall not be named (hint: it's in Iowa City) in 2009.

Aaron is a Sergeant in the Army Reserve and veteran of the Iraq War. He is currently on hiatus from DJing, serving active duty as a trainer for units headed overseas. His interests include writing, politics and law. He plans on becoming a criminal defense attorney, but sometimes dreams about his future as a governor or U.S. senator.

An easygoing kind-of-guy, Aaron loves all kinds of movies and has trouble naming a favorite - even NetFlix has a hard time finding a niche for him. When Iowa weather is tolerable, he cruises in style in his 1990 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe. When it's not, he drives a Jeep Grand Cherokee. He already owns his dream car, so he instead dreams of catching a windfall to spend on it.

Aaron became a DJ because it was something he's wanted to do since middle school. His experience as a public speaker and years of customer relations in restaurants and retail give him what it takes to make an event successful. That, and his love of singing along to 80's hits.
